1887 Vincent Van Gogh tintype original holy grail priceless. This is only the second image of the most famous artist ever found. It's the only tintype in existence of him showing him as we all know from the popular image online. The only other image of Vincent is a photo card of him in the suit (pictured in images above) ..most definitely taken of him on the same day during a photo shoot set up by his brother Theo. Theo arranged the photography shoot with Victor Morin at his studio who then took a few photos of the artist. Historians believe Van Gogh was not particularly cozy with having his photo taken. This is also why his expression appears to look very stiff and serious on this photo tintype. This tintype would be worth in the high millions if it had a documented line of provenance. We are selling it as is. The most extraordinary discovery we've seen in a long time!
