Recently, a cut-off vest from the final period of the highly sought-after LEE 101-J with the square black tag, which has seen significant price increases. The bottom line of the tag reads UNION MADE, and the presence or absence of the MR on the patch name (likely absent) is indistinguishable, so I'm listing it as late 60s to 70s. Note that after this, the 101-J lettering disappears from the tag, excluding reproductions.In terms of Levi's, the 70505 Big E final and small e models are also from the 70s, so while there's some overlap between LEE and Levi's, the late 60s to 70s can be considered the golden age of denim jackets.Overall, it has a realistic, original fade.
